The Griffin is a student run digital news publication from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. The audience is students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the local Chestnut Hill community. Content is written with the undergraduates of CHC in mind and includes News, Culture, Opinion, and Sports sections. The Griffin started in 2010 as a free print publication and shifted to include an online medium in 2014. The publication went entirely online in 2017.

The Griffin digital news publication at Chestnut Hill College strives to create meaningful content that is fair, accurate, and informative for student engagement. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of journalism, including verifying facts and the validity of each statement. We strive to give everyone and every organization a voice within our articles to promote equal opportunity. We work toward representing the students of Chestnut Hill College.
Policy on Independence, Accountability, and Interviewing
The Griffin does not circulate editorial content before publication. Requests for correction to statements made in interviews will be considered; however, we maintain the right to accept or deny such requests. The publication’s editorial staff and faculty advisor can edit content post-publication. Corrections to factual inaccuracies are encouraged.
