basketball team 62\u201356 in Sorgenti arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"4dbf\">Post jumped on the opportunity to control the fourth quarter by launching a pivotal 3 to cut Chestnut Hill\u2019s lead to make it a two point game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"8267\">With momentum in their favor and the game in balance graduate student guard Trinity Bravo drilled a jump shot to take Post\u2019s first lead of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"5433\">A back and forth continued down the stretch. With every possession proving to be crucial, The Griffins called a timeout down 55\u201354 to draw the game winning play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"a77b\">Out of the timeout, Chestnut hill ran a swing play to the left side sophomore guard Caleigh Edwards caught it and had a wide-open lane to the basket, but her layup went far right off the glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"88b9\">Coach Reggie Daniels said after the loss \u201cEvery streak comes to an end. Losings a part of the game and you learn lessons from your losses. You just have to keep moving forward and be a better team tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"0b42\">The Griffins dominated the first quarter jumping out to a 18\u20138 lead and holding Post to under ten points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"a296\">Chestnut Hill\u2019s unrelenting full court press created trouble for Post early. They struggled to move the ball efficiently across half court and to set up their halfcourt offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"1b2e\">Both offesenes slowed down as the second quarter turned into a defensive battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"4b54\">Still, the Griffins managed to hold onto a 33\u201323 lead going into the half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"7861\">Both teams got out to a slow starts after halftime. Leading 42\u201333 with four minutes left in the 3rd quarter the Griffins were controlling both sides of the ball. Post however, was slowly cutting away at the Griffins lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"72ba\">Post hit a big three to cut the lead to nine and with 1:18 left in third quarter they added another critical three that cut Chestnut Hill\u2019s lead to 43\u201336.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"e7df\">By the end of the third quarter Chestnut Hill\u2019s lead had faltered to only five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"8def\">Post\u2019s fourth quarter surge brings the Griffins record to 15\u20136. though they have already clinched a playoff spot.
